History

Logicom developers went on a cruise and enjoyed one of the unique electronic game machines aboard that played a game called Caribbean Stud. Upon their return, they set upon creating a version of the game for The Major BBS.

Unfortunately, the game was patented, and the lawyers for the company running the casino on the cruise line contacted Logicom and instructed them to cease and desist.

It is uncertain if the game was ever fully completed, or if any copies were sold. It's likely that the game was completed and offered for sale but immediately pulled.

Game Information

Not much is known about Caribbean Stud. It was a version of Stud Poker developed by a cruise ship casino company.

Gameplay

Not much is known about the implementation of the game on The Major BBS. Considering the time frame, it is likely that the game had some global command access like the "Progressive" games.
