h2. Game Information Swords and Sorcery was a fantasy Role Playing Game (RPG) that featured ANSI graphics. The player would move in a small window that used text ANSI characters, not unlike Flash Attack. There were bars for health, magic, and energy points. Text would describe items and rooms, and each player would be able to use different weapons, wear different armor, and advance levels in the game. NPC (Non Player Characters) interacted with the player as he/she explored the world. There were several scrolls and spells to read and learn, and many places to explore. The game featured the concept of actions done in "rounds", a round being a five-second time period. This allowed for the user to make decisions and use commands without being overwhelmed. h2. Gameplay The screen was divided into four main panes. The top left showed the world map, with the player (and other players and NPCs) able to move around. The top right showed text descriptions. Commands and command results were immediately below both top panes in a large middle pane. And at the bottom in a small two-line pane was player stats and activated weapon information.
