History

Unfortunately, this is one of the modules that time has obscured the facts around. Matching Services came to light in the 1990 catalogs of Galactic Innovations. The module wasn't sold by Galacticomm after that company's acquisition of Galactic Innovations, so it had a very brief commercial life.

Module Information

From the Galactic Innovations catalog: "This product is excellent for "Dial-A-Match" type services!"

Quite literally, that is all that is known about this module. From this, we can glean that it was a dating service type module, fully text mode and menu-driven, with some sort of scoring given to questions and answers to help effectively match users. Since it was available only during The Major BBS v5.x era, there was likely no networking aspect to the module.
