Quick Credit 900

History

As systems grew, there was a need to improve the way payments were collected from users. A few enterprising ISVs came up with the idea of using then-popular 900 number services to handle payments from users.

Logicom was one of the ISVs who produced such a product and service. Quick Credit 900 allowed users to call a 900 number for a charge of $10.00 or $25.00 (depending on the service agreement), and were given a code to enter online for instant access.

Logicom's success in this field led to the development of iBill (The Internet Billing Company), the company founded by Don Arnel and his brother Tim, which produced products and services to help web sites accept payment.

Module Information
